Returned to Maoz Vegetarian—the iconic Middle Eastern vegan chain where I began my gastronomy career—as Restaurant Manager after the pandemic hiatus.

Took full operational leadership of the Gothic Quarter location, enhancing overall customer experience and elevating the restaurant’s Google Maps rating to 4.8 out of 5 stars through consistent high-quality service and numerous positive reviews. Spearheaded a complete refurbishing project and modern rebranding, including refreshing the logo and corporate image.

Launched a new official website for the business, expanded sales channels by introducing and managing food delivery partnerships with Uber Eats and Glovo (negotiating terms with platform reps), updated pricing on select items to improve profitability, refreshed brand visuals and information across all online platforms (including new professional photos), and achieved improved ratings on Google Maps, Tripadvisor, HappyCow, and other review sites.

Handled daily restaurant operations, managed and motivated staff performance, led hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members, oversaw administrative and financial duties (including backend control and provider negotiations), coordinated refurbishing and rebranding execution, developed and introduced new menu items to keep offerings fresh, monitored service quality and customer feedback, and performed public relations tasks to strengthen community presence and visibility in Barcelona’s competitive vegan scene.

  4. Food Delivery Expansion & Partnerships – Introduced and managed Uber Eats and Glovo integrations, negotiated deals, and optimized delivery conditions to grow sales.
  5. Menu Development & Pricing Strategy – Designed and launched new menu items; adjusted pricing strategically to increase revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
