Supported the owner as a versatile Operations Assistant (effectively acting as Hotel Manager Assistant) at Hostal Roma Condesa, a charming boutique hostel/hotel in the trendy Roma-Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City.
Configured and managed Cloudbeds and OTA channels (Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, etc.), integrated payment gateways (Stripe and others), established seasonal/dynamic rates, coordinated housekeeping team, monitored and responded to guest reviews, prepared income, occupancy, and payment reports, and focused on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
On the gastronomy side, revitalized the attached Yula Café by updating the menu with new items, integrating it seamlessly with hotel operations, and activating the hotel’s stunning sunny roof terrace as a key feature for guest experience.
Launched and managed multiple events on the roof terrace, creating a new revenue stream.
Introduced and helped implement innovative room concepts including shared dormitory-style rooms and upgraded Deluxe Suites, which were developed and launched during my tenure to broaden appeal and increase occupancy.
